Carstin was in the Zimbabwean Air Force for many years. When
he resigned there was little other work around. He returned
to to his home village and was encouraged to carve by his
uncle who is a notable sculptor. Carstin has a wonderful personality
and this reflects in his speciality - Classic Shona Sculpure
- especially lovers.
